    Tubby Smith Steps Down as High Point Coach

    He cites getting COVID twice and having to be away from the program as the reason. His son G.G. Smith will take over.

    Might be the last stop for Tubby. If it is, he had a very solid coaching career.

          Hate hearing this but his health is way more important

          Glad I was in Rupp to see his banner hung up

              Tubby had a good career. He is 70 years old and time to enjoy life. His son is taking his place, so I am sure Tubby is happy with his decision.

              I'm glad he was able to get to Rupp one last time and also be honored.
