This game is over. I can’t stand watching Wheeler in games like this. Flopping, traveling, bad passing. I’m ok if he would leave after the year. One of my non favorite UK guys of all time

Pretty disappointing so far, TYTy sitting on the bench like that is not a good look.

Just a total team meltdown. Learn from it and move on.

I hope that this is a wake up call tonight as this team looked like a bunch of cream puffs. Tennessee played well but no toughness tonight and actions of TyTy on bench worry me.
I am hoping for a big game on Saturday.

More concerned with TyTy than the outcome of the game.

“Undefeated when healthy” is becoming a little cringey.

After seeing the box score I am surprised it was as close as it was.🙁

This UK team runs the floor on the break as good as any team I have seen at UK since the Pitino years. Our problem is with our half court offense. It has been bad for since the right after Kansas game. We won the last few due to superior talent. Tonight Barnes designed a game plan to force us to beat him with the half court game and his players executed it flawlessly. That we couldn’t do it hardly surprises me. UK needs at least 2 guys from the 1 to 3 spot that can beat somebody off the dribble, with Washington hurt we have one, who is 5’8”. If you are a guard at UK and you can’t beat your man off the dribble you are out of luck. Our best shooter Grady cant or won’t . Barnes left a quick guy on him all night and he never left to help with anybody, so Grady was a non factor. Wheeler looked out of control at times but he was often the only guy moving on the half court set, somwhat is he going to do. I like this team and I like these kids, but if Cal doesn’t realize he must design some sets to gat our spot up shooters looks off of MULTIPLE screens this team will not go very far in the big dance I fear.

And the 5-8 guy is over-rated by so many. Barnes half-court offense has tons of movement, passes, etc... Ours is a 5-8 guy that dribbles around and most often does nothing while most just stand around.

I agree Ratt but who designed this offense. Wheeler played what 38 minutes tonight , it’s hard for me to believe he isn’t doing exactly what the coach is telling him to do. Cals half court offense just doesn’t work very well with the personnel we have on this team as K, Pearl and Barnes have all proved, good coaches figure out what you are doing well and adjust. I see very little of that from Cal in these type of games. He simply shuffles guys in and out of lineup HOPING somebody will be able to run his offense like he wants it run, never mind that it isn’t working. It has always been my biggest gripe about his game coaching.

TyTy should have never played if he wasn't 100%

CATS need to regroup and beat Bama on Saturday

We have the 9th best offensive efficiency in America, while Tennessee hovers around 80th.

                              Try again.

Don't know what Ratt and Jload are going on about. This is one of the best offensive teams Cal has had.

It just can't have anybody down. This is an "all hands on deck" team. It isn't 2010, 2012, or 2015. It's more like 2017. It can't overcome the loss of even one main player because its room for error is pretty tight, particularly at guard.

The problem now is that we run into a tough stretch of teams and TyTy is likely going to have to be out. We were flying high and talking about 1 seeds just a few days ago. Now we'll have to find a way to stay afloat without our best perimeter playmaker. Super tough.
