    Game Thread: Florida vs. Kentucky

Florida comes in on something of a roll, winners of their last four. Kentucky finds itself in position to move up in the polls as teams above them continue to lose.

Florida isn't a very good offensive team (that's putting it nicely), but has one of the SEC's best big men in Colin Castleton. He blocks a lot of shots and has had an outstanding season. Will be a tough match for Oscar.

The game is at 4:00 tommorow on ESPN.

I'm trying to find a blackout curtain to make my office as dark as possible since the game is in the afternoon.

    Can't mess with the 'stition.

Cut cardboard to size, then duct tape it over the windows. Turn off the lights and it’ll be so dark you won’t be able to see your hand in front of your face.

Game Day BABY! Tuesday to Saturday seems a lot longer this year than it did last year.
Keep this thing rolling Cats. Lots of people would like to see another loss before tourney time but it’s too early to be thinking that way.

I agree, Catsrock. I understand the thinking, but I just can't bring myself to do it.

Definitely don’t need to lose at home to just okay teams. It’ll hurt our seed.

I’m not even sure we “need” a loss. The ‘98 team caught fire in February and just kept winning. It’s just that I’ve always noticed that teams who take in gaudy winning streaks to the tournament tend to get burned.

I do think teams that go into the tournament with really long win streaks tend to let the media make them feel pressure to win. Personally I put more weight on just being tested down the stretch. Don’t want to go through February without any real challenges. I think Gonzaga is at a disadvantage by playing all their tough games early then cruising for 2 1/2 months before the tourney.
