It's gotten very, very bad for Chris Mack and UofL after yet another loss last night.

Meanwhile, I saw this week that the rumor mill around the program is batting around who the next coach might be. Tim Sullivan of the CJ says one name keeps coming up: Bruce Pearl.

Who knows what their interim AD would want. He might just want wins. But, until the NCAA cloud is lifted or lowered, the UL program won't recruit top players no matter who the coach is.

Eric Crawford reported that UofL has called a joint meeting of it's athletics board and board of trustees for tomorrow afternoon and coach Mack's radio show tonight has been cancelled.

I believe he's gone. I don't expect him to last the week out. The only thing that might prolong the agony is if UofL is trying to figure out some way to fire him w/o a buy-out.
