No Word Yet on Wheeler or TyTy's Injuries (UPDATE: TyTy Officially Out)

UK is meeting with the media now. Nothing official on either TyTy or Wheeler, might be something later today.

Twice this season Kentucky basketball point guard Sahvir Wheeler has been injured on a blindside screen. John Calipari wants the NCAA to ban the play.

TyTy is listed as day to day per coach Antigua. https://www.on3.com/college/kentucky...-injury-ankle/

Per Givony on Twitter, TyTy is officially out for the Mississippi St. game tonight.

Not surprised. Hope he can go Saturday.

I'm not surprised to hear this. I imagine he is undergoing extensive treatment to reduce swelling and promote healing. I would expect him to be available Saturday.

Oscar told the media last night that he believed TyTy would play on Saturday.

It will be a long night in Kansas Saturday night without TyTy.

                      Yep.

If we guard the way we sometimes do it might be a long night with TyTy.

Kentucky can put up points. Offensively I like this team a lot. Defensively I think it's suspect.

I just have a bad feeling about this game even at full strength, and without TyTy it could be ugly. We can't get in foul trouble early and Oscar is going to have to duplicate his performance last night and Grady needs to be hot from the start.

McCormack and the guy that I can’t pronounce his last name will be a problem.

Yep, Agbaji....he is a contender for player of the year. Averaging over 21 ppg and just hung 37 on #13 Texas Tech

And don't forget Braun, he one of those type players to where if he comes out and gets a dunk early or hits a three, he can hang a lot of points on you.

At least Kansas can't overtake us as the winningest program Saturday, that would've really been miserable if they had the opportunity to do that while beating us at the same time.
