If it was cancelled that makes a little more sense.

But--again, just in a vacuum--it looks like UK missed on Lively so they scheduled that visit because they need to secure the second choice.

Not saying that's what happened. With the way UK is going right now it would kind of be a shock if we didn't get who we were after. But just saying that's what it looks like in isolation. Over the last three or four years whenever you heard of visits being set up with players you could be pretty assured that UK wasn't getting the guy they were after at that position.

I think it's possible that the Bona visit was rescheduled for him to reassess the situation at UK with the addition of Lively being a reality. And if Bona and Lively could both still come to UK after that reassessment then the visit will happen at a later date.

And as I typed that I was told the Bona visit DID happen and UK wants both. So, I think it's a matter of Bona being on board with it ultimately.

From what I was texted, I think UK is VERY optimistic that they sealed the deal with Lively.

Duke folks have all but surrendered. But, Zion's commitment always makes me leery when Duke is involved so I will be cautiously optimistic.

From what I have heard Bona would be fine playing with Lively, Lively apparently is not big on the idea though.

I’m glad to hear this. Scheyer’s visit with him last Saturday followed 6 days later by today’s change in announcement date was worrisome.

Travis Graf says it's UK. And word from Bona's camp confirms that. Now UK will try to convince Bona that they he can fit too.

Livingston is actually pretty set on wanting to play mostly the 3 from what I've heard lately so it'll be interesting to see how that works with Cal likely signing Sharpe, Wallace, and Skyy. I think many assumed Livingston was going to be mostly a small ball 4.

Branham is 31/32 on crystal ball picks this year. Hopefully this is his second miss of the year

It does seem like there is some hedging going on now, so I'd say we're looking good for Monday but not a slam dunk sure thing. Graf saying UK makes me feel good but the winds could change by Monday. We'll see. Bona is a great consolation prize, no doubt, but Lively is UK's 1st choice, make no mistake.

No, been busy getting ready for a trip and haven’t followed back up.

Funny how these things work. 6 hours ago it was all UK buzz, now everyone thinks it’s Duke.

Pilgrim says 60/40 Duke. But no one knows at all for sure. And he says if Lively picks Duke, Bona announces to UK by the end of next week. Disappointing, but Bona is certainly no slouch, and a great fit.
