Hard to say because of the match-ups. I think Wichita State was the most impressive I've seen today but Kansas isn't a tough team, and they had a huge built-in reason to beat that team.

Gonzaga's been impressive but they're also playing a very similar kind of team to them and they're playing a virtual home game. (As was Kentucky, but the difference is our crowd will follow us to Cleveland.)

Everything tends to even out in the Sweet Sixteen. I do think Duke and Gonzaga are on a collision course and that should be a tremendous game.

Interesting moment there in the Wisconsin game.

Len Elmore just called out Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan for some comments he made to the sideline reporter. Ryan apparently scoffed at a question regarding Frank Kaminsky and Elmore jumped him for it.

            UK plays after.

@vaughtsviews: The first game on CBS between Notre Dame and Wichita State tips at 7:15 on CBS. So 10 might be lucky for game to start

Speaking of awful announcing. Did anyone catch Barkley at halftime of the Kansas game say that Cliff Alexander was playing pretty well?

Oregon tied it up at 52 but Wisc has gone on a 8-2 run since then. Oregon can't stop them at all right now.

Oregon just didn't have enough in this game. Wisconsin got some timely shots and just kind of outlasted them.

Not a good showing from Wisconsin and they had serious problems with Oregon's athletes. Oregon really got production out of two guys and literally couldn't throw the ball to two or three guys and still made a run at the Badgers. By far the poorest I've seen Wisconsin play this year.

I like Barkley but it's obvious he watches 0 college basketball.

Elmore and Webber have been all over Frank Kaminsky in this game, sometimes subtly and sometimes right out in the open. Neither is too impressed.

UL out to a pretty good start. I thought they were average (at best) with Jones. Really thought they would struggle without him. Doing ok despite him being gone.

Rick Pitino says his players are "afraid" of Montrezl Harrell.

That's always good when your best player intimidates and strikes fear in the hearts of the other guys. Recipe for success there.

They've struggled. Beat a bad Florida State team, lost to Notre Dame and North Carolina, and beat a fading Virginia and then UC Irvine. Haven't looked good doing any of that.

This game is interesting so far because it's clear their quickness is giving Northern Iowa problems. If they make the Sweet Sixteen it'll be one of Pitino's best coaching jobs. They have serious gaps.

One thing about Louisville though is that the Jones debacle has been a blessing in disguise because they weren't going to a Final Four anyway even with him. Now that Jones is out it allows freshman Quintin Snyder to play point and prepare him for down the road.

Jones would've gotten all those minutes.
