The games will be starting in just over an hour. Most are this evening. I hate these Sunday night games. For working man they are on too late. The two main games I want to watch are late, Maryland vs Virginia and the UL game.

Maryland vs. W. Virginia will be interesting to watch. Both have characteristics that could give UK trouble. -
I liked Bob Huggins comment about how he was glad this was all about the student athlete playing until midnite or one in the morning thanks to scheduling for television.

UVA just cannot close the gap against Michigan State. They pulled it to 2 and had the chance to cut it to 1 - missed the free throw, then got the rebound and still couldn't finish it. Now they're down by 12. I think Michigan State is underrated as a 7 seed, they've played really tough the last month. UVA may win, but Michigan State is gonna have to stop scoring points for it to happen.Comment

Louisville has to do a lot of work, starting today. They'd be one of the weakest Final Four teams in recent history if they made it.
Virginia's loss surprises me not at all. That team hit its peak in January and has been middling ever since. The only reason their efficiency numbers have remained high is because they play at such a slow, grueling pace.Comment

Michigan State got a nice lead and Virginia struggled to pick up the pace. Virginia isn't built to come back from that kind of deficit.
I wouldn't go as far to say UL would be the weakest Final Four team in recent memory. I guess it depends on your length of "recent". George Mason immediately comes to mind.Isaiah 5:20Comment

I believe all those mid-majors, including George Mason, would beat this Louisville team as it stands now, without Jones.
George Mason beat a very good Connecticut team that year that would beat this Louisville team by 25. This is just a mediocre team all the way around. They might get through today but it'll take some luck.
If the road is paved for anybody in that region, it's Michigan State, but I still like Oklahoma. I had them on a couple of my brackets going to the FF.Comment

San Diego State is one of those teams that doesn't like to look at the rim until about 5 seconds are on the shot clock. Not sure they can keep up with Duke playing that way.Comment
