    Lon Kruger

    I saw where Lon is retiring after 44 years in coaching. I remember when he coached the Gators. He was a pretty classy guy.

      My 7th grade Geography teacher was one of his best friends. He used to sit behind the gator bench when they played in Rupp and he always had stories to tell about hearing Pitino (he was otherwise a UK fan).

      Anyway if I ever meet Lon I have something to talk about with him.

          He had some good Florida teams in the 90's and took them to the Final Four in '94. A lot of people forget he coached the Atlanta Hawks, which I can see because he seemingly coached everywhere.
