I have been on Cal’s side and a big fan of his. He’s making it really hard to continue to support him.

Not sure what to hope for now. It feels like Cal should get another chance but at this point I’m not totally convinced we shouldn’t move on.

Well that stunk, kind of indicative of how our season has been there at the end wasn’t it. Despite his better game Boston proved he isn’t the guy yet at winning time. Our point guards were miserable tonight

Cal has earned a chance to fix this, especially considering the weird circumstances of the season.

But this has been a complete systems breakdown and it's entirely his fault.

Sometimes as a coach - you have kids that just can't put it together in games.
He recruited them and put the team together. If they can't do things it's his job to make them work on it in practice. This team hasn't gotten any better.

This is the first year they havent improved, which is why he has earned a chance to fix it.

Ok so what... He also recruited Herro, Quickly, Wall, Cousins, Washington, Fox, Monk, Briscoe, Shai, Davis, Gilchrist, and many many others... He missed on 3 players that were supposed to have been a lot better than they were in Boston, Clarke, and Sarr as the transfer... It happens. Sometimes, these kids don't pan out. Unfortunately, this team has missed on every single spot and it's going to be tough next year as well if someone doesn't come in to provide some assistance and if some of these players that return doesn't take a huge leap of improvement.

And are you really that naive to think that they are not practicing things in practice? You don't get to the spot where Cal is and has been without being good at what you do. It's not like they just picked him up down at the local general store. So many people act like Cal was the only coach after these guys.

He missed. You can see it on the court. They don't know the basics of the game. Did he miss on some recruits over the years - sure, everyone does.

We think it’s bad now. How are we going to feel in a couple of weeks when this team is 4-14???

I'm numb at this point, so I don't figure it'll feel much different.

The worst Kentucky team I have seen in at least 50 years.

I noticed a lot of quit in Kentucky in that game. Team looked like they didn’t want it at times.

First time in the Calipari era I’ve seen that.

Did anyone catch Cals shots at the fans and the sports media in his post game comments. Unreal, his days are numbered at U.K. if he continues in this vein

Yeah. I wished he wouldn't go there but I do agree with him. So many UK fans or as I call them - 'couch coaches' think they know everything and are constantly ripping on him and the team (I've done it as well) but he is right - we don't see what is going on in practices, we don't see what is going on behind the scenes. If you've ever coached past the 6th grade, you learn that often, you can teach and coach and teach non-stop but sometimes, the talent isn't there or the player can't seem to put it together and execute anything that is being practiced. Yet, Johnny Potato Sack from Hazard knows that Allen and Toppen are the answer to the team making the tournament if they just were starting.

I agree with you Ratt, the coach does know his team, but just like the captain of a ship HE is the one ultimately responsible for everything that happens with it. Nobody put a gun to his head and ordered him to tinker with the line up, for him to imply that it’s the media and fans”fault” that he did so is absolute horse apples. He gets paid millions to coach this team and deal with the pressure that goes along with it, laying his teams shortcomings off on fans and press is the beginning of the end of a big time coach, saw Nolan Richardson do the same thing at Arkansas and It did not end well.

Don't go using Cal's excuses. It seems plenty of other teams are doing just fine with these "weird circumstances". And yes, it's all his fault.
