I think we shoulda won that game yesterday but I don't think we're giving Richmond enough credit. Richmond ain't Evansville, and they're probably better than a lot of teams on the schedule this year.

St. Louis took it to LSU the other night too.

this UK team cannot shoot at all and until Cal can land the elite basketball players and not just elite athletes UK won’t go to another Final Four.
The numbers don’t lie. A team not playing well beat us.
The lack of assists is really concerning.

They didn't play well, but still ran their stuff, didn't get rattled, and played solid defense. In other words, like a senior-laden, talented basketball team.

Meanwhile, we played like a bunch of freshmen who had never played together before.

It's frustrating, but under Cal it's the way it is; at the end of the year, I think I'll take Kentucky's roster over Richmond's.

A good team (which we are not yet) would've been up on Richmond by 15 at the half with the way they played.

Thought they played well in the second half but they smelled blood in the water.

Was really impressed with the Cayo kid. If those first two games are who he really is he'll play in the NBA. Very impressive player.

This is exactly what I was about to post. They just didn't make shots in the first half. If they had made open shots in the first half they'd have been up 10-12 at half. We were lucky they were missing.

They also took some terrible shots. Their one guard probably shot it 25 times.

But I thought we did decent things defensively in the first half. We took away that backcut and made them shoot threes, which was the gameplan.

The second half obviously everything broke apart on us.

There was a moment where Cal pulled the entire starting five and the lead ballooned from 2 to 9 in seconds. We never recovered.

I'm not sure if he was trying to send a message, or what, but it's the turn that ultimately killed us.

Lol yes. Our frontcourt should never be Ware and Fletcher.
