If they're serious about shutting teams down for two weeks if one person in the vicinity of the team (trainers, doctors, etc) is positive, there is zero chance of a coherent basketball season.

That's for sure. Not likely to find many teams where one person isn't at least exposed.John 3:3

This week is slated to be the start of the college basketball season.
So far it's not off to a great start. Multiple programs have had positive tests and are shutting down for the short-term. This includes Tennessee, who just announced that Rick Barnes is positive.
The powers-that-be in the sport have to be seriously concerned. I'm not sure how many programs are shut down but the number has grown significantly just today.Comment

As some have stated, this season is going to be a slow interesting process if we even have one.John 3:3

It sounds like some of these teams are showing up at Mohegan Sun for that Bubbleville thing and then getting positive tests and told to turn around and go home.
Stephen F. Austin was supposed to tip the season off tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. One guy (one) in their party tested positive and now they're booted.
Heard about another team that showed up and had multiple positive tests, which seems to indicate they weren't doing enough (or any) tests back home.Comment

Because it's 2020 we're going to get situations like this:

Stony Brook’s game against Bryant today has been canceled due to a positive test not affiliated with either program, source told
@Stadium.
"Not affiliated with either program." LOL.Comment
