To be fair to Daughty, Evans has reffed arguably the worst game in the history of college basketball.

One thing that jumps out at me is, Richards had only 3 rebounds and Sestina had 2. Yet we tied UA at 38 boards. Again we were 27 of 33 from the line. Huge.

For some reason, regular season titles mean more to me than the tournament titles.

Proud of how this team came back after a bad start and beat a tough auburn team.

Dead on post. The SEC tourney titles are a different creature. I always think winning that regular season title makes you the champion, period.

I was thinking about Cal during the game. It seems like every year he's got a handful of games where he gets just gets out coached. I don't believe that's been the case this year. He's handled this team very well.

I thought there may've been a couple of games early where better coaching might have won the game for us. Also thought maybe the South Carolina game wasn't a good bench game for Cal, as they started to drive us relentlessly in the second half and he didn't make an adjustment. Compare this to the adjustment that was made when we went zone against Arkansas after he got ejected and it's a little frustrating.

But I agree, for the most part he's had a good year. Undoubtedly the coach of the year in the league. To win it with this roster? I don't care if the SEC is down. The SEC is usually down and there have been some better UK teams that have had to fight just to earn a split. This team and coach deserves a ton of credit.
