Ole Miss @ UK game thread

As much as I hate floppers - UK guys are starting to do it too much lately as well. Quickly/Hagans do it a lot and today Nick was falling a lot. I've never seen a basketball game with so many people falling to the floor. Overall - terrible game that somehow got the win from.

Agreed, but if it works we might as well not unilaterally disarm ourselves.

I remember when Rick left, was looking at Billy Donovan. Rick told Ky that he wasn't ready, and recommended Tubby. Thank you, Rick.

Donovan was the choice, Rick was probably afraid Donovan would do it better...

Tubby did well enough. Not every coach has a Natty. He actually had a couple of teams than were primed to go again....but one ran into a Marquette team with a superstar, one had some of my favorite gritty seniors that vapor locked against UAB, one got pushed out by Michigan State in a heart breaker of an overtime loss.

Tubby hated recruiting, and boy did it show....but he was as good an x and o coach that we've had in a lotta years.

Every win is a big win. But, I’m not sure how anyone can feel great about the way this team is playing right now.

Man, give it a rest. The team played like dog's arse and shot 9% from 3 and still won. Ole Miss isn't Baylor but they'd won 3 in a row and 4 of their last 6 with a guy who was scoring at will.

Everything with you is that if you don't agree that the team is pathetic and awful then you're feeling great about how they're playing. That's tiring. I don't understand why you can't just come to terms with this team being short of where previous teams have been and just appreciate they're winning in their own right. 10-2 in the SEC and in first place and you're complaining like we're middle of the pack.

A win is a win and i will take it. We not winning every game by 30 and we not going undefeated but i like this team, it's tough and gritty, learning how to grind it out and win, i still believe....

Winning is winning, and this crew gets everybody's best shot just cause...well...Kentucky.
Showing some fight and grit. Could a folded up the tents with the upset losses early, but are digging in. LSU game may be ugly, but I bet these Cats leave some claw marks... which is something at one time I didnt think I would see.

Personally I don't think LSU can make us look too bad. May beat us but not convincingly.
