Ole Miss @ UK game thread

They're supposed to be cracking down on flopping. For the alley oop from Quickley to Richards at the 14:00 mark the defender clearly flopped trying to take a charge. There wasn't a foul called either way, but it would've been a great opportunity to warn the kid.

No kidding. That's a "point of interest" that may not have been called once this season. Shame.

If we can win a game playing like that let's just take it and move on! Ole Miss isn't that good of a team, but they've been playing better here recently. We will most likely have to win an ugly game like that in the tournament, so it's good to know this time has what it takes to grind it out. They've shown that a few times this year.

What a game, Ole Miss came in today wanting that Super Bowl win with 1-3-1 with us shooting horrible and we still won. Ole Miss will be a tough out for someone if they make the NCAA tournament. I like the grit and grind our team is showing, on to the next..

No but I am feeling good about winning 8 of 9, while sitting at 20-5 and 10-2.

I'm not particularly impressed by any top team I've seen recently, aside from Baylor and maybe Kansas.

LSU lost at Bama amd Mizzou up 13 at the half on Auburn. Hard to win in the road in the SEC.

Although he did win a national championship with Rick's team, that I don't think Rick would have won. Because Rick would have never called off the full court press like Tubby did.

Along those lines, Rick would have have won consecutive championships if he had played Anderson.

As much as I hate floppers - UK guys are starting to do it too much lately as well. Quickly/Hagans do it a lot and today Nick was falling a lot. I've never seen a basketball game with so many people falling to the floor. Overall - terrible game that somehow got the win from.
