I'm very proud of this Kentucky Team even though they lost their focus there at the end. They missed their PG and Maxey proved that's not his spot when the game's on the line. Bad shot selection and trying to do it all. Sestina had open shots and couldn't get one to fall. GO CATS!!! Get ready for Miss State.

Tough environment, tough, fast, physical team that Auburn has. Nick was playing w/little energy and was completely taken out of the game. He looked like he looked last year. Standing around, getting pushed around, getting in the way, not jumping or jumping way late, etc. Hagans was terrible. And yet, they were still in the game till the end... They have got to fix the 2nd half offensive woes - it's killing them in just about every single game. Not really upset because I figured they would lose this game.

Yeah - he's not the savior like many wanted to make him out. He's a decent player but there's a reason he was at Bucknell. He's just too slow and just not quite big enough when playing against teams like Auburn. But, it's not just him. This team wins or losses mainly on 4 guys. The others you take what you can get and hope they don't make too many mistakes. I do like that they ran a play for him and it was well executed, he just missed - it happens.

Stating the obvious here: Let a player go MJ on us (Doughty) turn the ball over, your starting point guard having a terrible game, get killed on the boards, out scored by 13 from the free throw line will and our players being in foul trouble a lot of the game will usually get you beat and it did. But, we were in the game despite all of that. Disappointed with the loss but not surprised. Auburn is a good veteran (four starting seniors).
