Saw none of this game because my son played at same time, but really pleased that Johnny Juzang has come out of nowhere to be a factor on this team. I like him down the road in this program. Brooks too.

Tough one coming this weekend. If Kentucky could somehow get a W on the road there, you might start thinking about them as a legitimate top 10 team. If they drop it then they'll still be leashed to Evansville/Utah/South Carolina.

Yeah Juzang is starting to get some shots to go down and Brooks is getting better. We may not be blowing teams out and we have had a few bad close losses but i still like this team, just have to accept we not beating people by 20 on a nightly basis. Also thought good ole EJ played pretty decent last night, going to need him, actually going to need each and every one of them if we are going to make a run...

I mean that's no surprise, but the rankings are almost unhinged.

Eight of the top ten have at least one metric that's >20. I've never seen that before. Almost everybody in the top 30 has one metric that's wildly out of whack.

Suggests (1) the national title is anyone's ball game, and (2) the first two days of the tournament are going to be totally crazy.

I love it. I've been trying to say that this team has to be judged on what the competition is. This team can win 6 in a row in March/April because of their guards and Richards. If the rest of the guys continue to progress then UK is in good shape. This team can lose their first game or win it all. Much depends on matchups and who's hot, and if Brooks and Juzang continue to blossom, look out. It's gonna be a fantastic March/April

What was your take on the elbow offensive foul call on Hagans in the 1st half?

First, are you're talking about the elbow he threw at Edwards in the 2nd half? If so, I thought it was intentional and would get him a Technical. Why they didn't call it, I have no idea.

Missed our last two games but listened on the radio and saw the highlights. We look to be rounding into form. Cal is happy with the development to this point. But I don't know what it is about this team. Still have the feeling the rug can be pulled out at any moment. We need Juzang and EJ to keep it up. Outside of Ashton and Nick, I feel Brooks is the key. Not Whitney as Cal said a few weeks ago. Absolutely love Brooks game. He came in liking any and all shots. He's morphed into a decent enough defender and he has a nose for the ball. He is gonna be a good one.

I agree. Looked harmless in full speed. The replay showed otherwise.

OK I looked at this play and I agree with the call. At first I thought it was called the wrong way when I watched it at full speed, but when I slowed it down Hagans definitely gained the advantage by creating space with his elbow. I hope this is the play you're talking about.
