Man, I sure hope it isn't serious but that is what is feared. Seeing Pearl cry in the post game got to me a bit. Never want to see anyone get hurt. That dude was playing his tail off. Just a tough, tough loss for Auburn.Isaiah 5:20Comment

To this I would only say:
The worst feeling in the world is when you start to not experience joy when your team wins a game. Any game.
At the point where you just shrug and turn the television off (and I think many fans--of both Alabama and UK--do this) then that's a pitiful place to be. I feel sorry for those people.
If you can't get joy from this and feel like taking it to the streets then I don't know what you're doing. I would have celebrated in the streets last night were I a student. I wouldn't have burned couches but when I was in school we drove to Lexington a couple of times after big games in '98. IIRC one of those times was after a lowly Elite 8 win.
You have to feel the sweetness to be invested in this.👍 1Comment

It's well documented that I'm not a big fan of bb no matter who's playing. I was born, raised and have spent my entire life living in Ky. so there's a certain amount of state pride involved for me. I'd want them to win even if they were in a tiddly winks tournament. We stormed the field awhile back in fb after beating, I believe, Vandy. I thought that was silly. The reality of the situation is that, no matter how good UK becomes in fb, I'll never live to see them win multiple SEC East titles much less SEC Championships. If I did, I'd hope that the fans would act like they'd been there before. But this is just my feelings on the matter, to each his own.
