Cal was already coaching the next time we play UT. That stuff is what the fans of the team where I live does.

Don't ever tell our crowd to be quiet, Uk basketball is and will always be bigger than Cal, those people bought those tickets and have every right, we actually need our crowd rocking more, its what and who makes us who we are, coach the game, no other SEC team will ever feel sorry and do that for us

Not sure I viewed it the same. Cal wants the place rocking start to finish, but the “overrated “ chant is a little classless IMO and has the potential to motivate them more so for the rematch in two weeks. No one wants to give UT anything additional to motivate them, especially Cal.

Wouldn't shock to see a reverse. Best overall game Cats have played all year. To be honest when the Vols went on that run in the second half I was thinking State and LSU all over again.
Vols had a real bad shooting spell. Some was Kentucky defense, some was just a bad streak.

We will do it again soon, and possibly the I've after that.

Cal wasn't telling the crowd to be quiet. He was telling them to cut it with the stupid "overrated" chant.

And, without question, that is the single dumbest chant in sports.

Yes it should. Outside of about a 5 minute 2nd half stretch, I thought we played outstanding. Tbe best we played all season. There is room for much improvement. Our ceiling is as high as anyones.

Yeah I don’t understand that. Guess they felt they weren’t getting enough airtime.

Thanks for asking and for all those who have no idea, it wasn't because they were not getting airtime! One thing for sure, Bilas had no idea.

I didn't see what happened and forgot to DVR the game so I can't go back and look. But around the 5 minute mark into the 2nd half something did happen, causing a the officials to tighten down and prevent whatever from esculating . I can only speak from experience, but I had games like last night. A player doubles a fist, someone says something an official hears which is threatening, and you have no choice. The players know what's going on and last night they behaved. There is a signal officials use to let the others know something happened and they react as a team.
