Up to 6th in the coaches poll. Our resume’ is about as strong as it gets right now. Cal’svteams usually start clicking in a February not January. Plenty of room to get better too.

If we can assume the Kentucky we've seen after the Alabama game is the "real" Kentucky then #6 is probably about right.

Michigan will be a Final Four team unless there's a fluke because of the way they defend. I might put them at my #1.

Tennessee has shown they're a little susceptible recently. If Schofield isn't hitting then they're a totally different team. But Grant Williams is such a steady low-post scorer that they just don't have to panic. If you can play without panicking in this sport you have a leg up on the field because almost everybody panics a little in March.

Duke's crazy athleticism and the individual play of Barrett and Zion likely gets them to the Final Four, but I think they're a little more susceptible than Michigan because of the way they shoot. They could easily have a 2-20 game like we did against WVU with the Wall team and lose.

Virginia still has to prove they can win in March.

Gonzaga will fly under the radar the way they always do but they could easily win a championship. They just beat Santa Clara by about 60 points. Nobody will talk about them until Selection Sunday and that's what makes them dangerous.

Not in love with Michigan St. I think Kentucky is at least their equal.

It's probably a stronger year on the whole than it was last season but Kentucky is (much) stronger than they were a year ago. I expect to see the Cats make a run to at least the Elite 8 and at that point it's anybody's game.

Our next 4 games are @Van, @Fl, USC, @MSST. Win those 4, which we can easily, and we're looking at 9-1 in the SEC heading into the home stretch. After the Seton Hall game I thought we'd enter the tournament with at least 10 losses. Now maybe 4???

Still think we lose two or three more in the SEC. Just too many tough games left.

Kentucky still has Tennessee and LSU at home. We go to Mississippi St., who I still think has a formidable team on the road. We've got a tough Ole Miss team at home. Then of course we go to Knoxville and Florida, where we always have a fight.

That's a lot of land mines. The good news is that there are two or three teams in the SEC that you could lose to on the road and not have it hurt you too much.

Road wins in the SEC are tough no matter who's playing. I suspect all the top teams will lose a couple.

Yeah if Kentucky plays like it did against Vandy in Rupp and if Vandy plays like they did against Tennessee last week they'll win.

I really like Saben Lee. He's a guy who UK fans are going to be grumbling about for four years, a la JJ Frazier.
