As always Lighthouse I appreciate you providing the rule. I never dream to know the exact language of every rule. Here it seems to me the rule proves THAT play was NOT a flagrant. Couldn't be much plainer to me PJ did everything within his physical capabilities to knock a ball from a potential dunker's hand and contacted his forearm with virtually no other contact at all. The offensive player's hand then proceeded on to the rim at which point his body went out from under him and he fell to the floor. Good effort by PJ. I hope the rule book never says you have to give up wide open dunks in close games.

My problem with the call is to look at it for a few minutes in real time AND slow-motion and see anything other than a play on the ball.

Early in the game i was a little worried our team was going to fall apart, players was bickering and arguin amongst themselves. Hagans looked at Johnson and told him to wake the F up after the turnover and PJ and Richards had a small exchange, i guess this all part of the bonding process. Johnson looks like he's hit that freshman wall and his confidence looks shot even at the free-throw line. Herro on the other hand isn't shooting the high percentage we expect but that kid is a pure scorer, glad he's on our team. Big win today, on to the next...

Johnson looks like his confidence is shot? He had 20 points and couldn't be stopped for much of the game yesterday.

        What are you talking about?

Coming out with a win was a testament to the team's increased resiliency and also provides another resume building win come tourney seeding time...GREAT Win!

I should have said that I agree that the call was a bad one, and I'm not sure why Dailey made the call and if the cut had any influence on his call, that too was wrong. One thing I believe will happen, Dailey will be explaining the call to the SEC Supervisor of Officials.

Are they supposed to facotr in how the player falls after the foul? I saw elsewhere it being discussed that college takes the into account similar to the NBA. IMO it was a good, clean, hard foul that led to an unfortunate landing.

No, the foul should be called at contact. Anything else is incidental unless things accelerate.

In our last home game, Matt Jones in his postgame was flat out ripping that UK fan in the lowers with a red sweater on. Wear some UK gear or AT LEAST our colors. I guess it makes em easy to spot on TV because they stick out so much. Of course they have the right to wear what they want but come on man. Get with it!

Glad he snapped out of it, first 10 minutes of that game he was trash, garbage. I still think he's hitting a little freshman wall but that's normal...

And the KEY WORD is i said early in the game, that's what i was talking about!!!!!!!!

Hagans and PJ showed some good leadership Saturday. I was relegated to the highlights as I missed the game and have read all I could about the game. That coulda been the best game we have played this season. Good contributions all around in a hostile environment. Beat MSU tomorrow then I FINALLY get to watch a full game Saturday.

I still think Johnson was going through a little funk, was hanging his head a little to much for me but he going to be fine. The way he played against North Carolina very few in the country can get down like that, he's going to be just fine....

Still say this, Hagans has changed this team for the better, it's the biggest thing i can point too during our win streak and progression, making it easier and taking alot of pressure off others...

And i think we can get better especially if we ever learn how to start defending the 3 ball....

Maybe in the first three minutes but he ended up being huge in that game Saturday. One of his better games to be honest. Auburn had nothing for him.
