It seems like we are close to putting it all together. Baker is playing well, Nick is giving us all we can ask, Hagans is Hagans. Keldon hasn't had a good night and Herro is forcing it a little. It is close to having it all click.

I'm not sure why I thought of this, but I have a question about assists:

Is there a time frame a player has to take a shot after receiving a pass in order for the passer to get an assist? Say Hagans passes to Herro, who stands there four about five seconds and throws a head fake and jab step, takes one dribble and a step forward, and hits a shot. Is that an assist? Or does it have to come in a natural flow?

I'm not sure about stats, but the play you describe doesn't sound like an assist.

Haven't watched due to work so can only go by the radio. Herro in a funk last few games. KJ, PJ and Travis haven't played well lately either. We have a bit to go. Thankful for Hagans or we would be seriously hurting right now.
