    Pitino helped usher in the reliance on the three point shot and also helped introduce college basketball to idea of all 5 players being able to shoot it. His view on spacing with his bigs and how to get the ball to them at certain angles was newer as well.

    As far as honoring him here, I disagree with Calipari. Flipping off the fans sealed that imo.

        I wonder what was said to Pitino as he walked out of Rupp? Sometimes fans take the game of basketball and someone's personal life a little too far, just saying

                I was recording the game and therefore missed all of the fun stuff at the beginning. Very poor management by ESPN et al. Switch that dog crap blowout of a game to another channel.

                    Weird thing happened to me watching it. I was watching it through the ESPN app on my Apple TV - I assumed it was on ESPN 2 but I guess it started out on the SEC Network? Or SEC Network +? Not sure, but mid way through the first half it just started showing highlights of the Alabama vs Georgia SEC Title football game.

                    I had to go back out and reload it off the menu.

                        Yeah, the D2 football game ran late so the UK game started on SEC network.
