What bothers me most about Cal's Achilles Heel of Situational Game Coaching, is that he doesn't realize it one ounce. Love Cal and I don't want him to leave, but not realizing this is 100% ego

Tubby- 10 seasons at UK, 6 with 9+ losses
Cal - 10th season at UK, likely to be his 6th with 9+ losses.

Oh for gods sake. I get what you’re trying to do but you’re kinda leaving out a key differential between the two.

I do kinda think Cal is nearing the end of his run. I don’t think anything has been the same since that Wisconsin loss in 2015. He’s losing recruiting battles, the team looks like crap, and we don’t seem to be getting better. Not sure if it’s time to hit the panic button but we’re getting there. North Carolina might beat us by 30.

              Dude, cut the horse crap.

With Tubby, those nine loss seasons didn't end up with Final Four and Runner-Up games, and you know that.

              You're just being purposely obtuse.

This team has glaring problems, and they'll either fix it (like they usually do) or they won't. I'm getting too old and I've got too much real life stuff going on to give it that much of my time. Disappointed, sure... but Kentucky will be fine, Cal will be fine, this team will be fine.

North Carolina isn't looking so hot so far this season, either. Better than us, but that's not saying much.

One thing is certain, Cal needs to make some adjustments. This team is too talented to be looking so pedestrian.

Calipari has never been known as much of an in game coach. He usually manages to get a bunch of kids that started the year as 'me' acting like ''we' by the end.

Not having a strong point guard or reliable outside shooter hurts. Both of those could develop.

I think what gnaws at our craws is it's every year.

I also think it was Will Lavendar that pointed out it isn't irritating so much to see a Wall, Cousins, Davis or KAT leave after a season, it's seeing Vanderbilt's, Gabriel's and others that are solid kids but a long way from NBA frontliners make that jump.

One guy like Ullis could make this year's team look pretty special. SO FAR, it ain't happening.

Freshmen and sophs every year give ulcers.

Calipari is a decent but not great coach. He loves to scream and micromanage the game but is awful on oob plays and saving timeouts.

He needs a superstar or 3 on his team to win big. And there is nobody close to that here right now. He has several good 3-4 year players with solid potential but at UK, a junior is like seeing Bigfoot.

Great ambassador and PR guy for UK. Tireless recruiter. Average coach.

                        Fire away.

I saw a couple things today. One, which I dislike mentioning but I've confirmed it with another official. The 3 Seton Hall scored near the end of regulation should not have counted because the SH kid double dribbled before he shot the ball. No excuse for an official to miss that.

The other thing may or may not be anything, but coming out of a TO PJ said something to Hagans and Hagans said something back. PJ went immediately to one of the Assistant Coaches and talked to him, probably about what he and Hagans talked about. It seemed odd to me the way that happened.

Glad someone finally brought up the double dribble.....

Should the elbow to the throat been a flagrant??
