    Vanderbilt?

Does he hurt us or help us if he plays?

I like Vanderbilt but he's a liability on offense and i do not want to see time being taken away from SKJ or Gabriel. I know Jared is a great rebounder but if it messes with the chemistry, i say pass. SKJ doesn't give you 20 a night but he makes some big plays when we need them, i am proud of him the way he has contributed as of late, same with Gabriel..

The best Kentucky looked all season was when Vanderbilt got comfortable in the three games before Florida.

The worst we looked was when Vanderbilt first came back.

I think Cal likely wants him to play because when you get to this stage, often the games get real brutal and come down to hustle and scrap. Loose balls, tough rebounds, etc. Vanderbilt can do that. And Kentucky has been mired in foul trouble for a good part of the whole season. Vanderbilt helps you there as well.

I think he probably plays if he's 100%.

I think he'll be back on Thursday. How much he actually plays is up for debate.

Another talented big can't hurt, even if he's not much help offensively.

I agree, with foul problems Vanderbilt gives us another body. I would say it's a no brainer Vanderbilt over Washington but PJ has actually been doing some really good things as of late. I am sure Cal knows what he has and will adjust accordingly...

With his hustle, ball handling, defense, rebounding and battle, Vanderbilt can only help us. And as others have said, he gives us 5 more fouls.

He will play if he's ready. His rebounding alone is enough to help. I think he will play limited minutes mainly because he has probably lost conditioning. Of course he gives UK five more fouls if needed.

Agree. My only concern is that he ignores his "role" (where he could be extremely valuable), and tries to become an offensive threat.

Vanderbilt is a energy player and I like UK's chances to go to the Fianl Four with him. I don't think UK can win the whole thing without him. He is just too good of an athlete to sit on the bench and can match up on several positions.

If Vanderbilt is a go, i am good with that especially if we want to run and push the pace. On rebounds i love the fact that he can actually start a break and get the defense off balance and force the action up the court. I know Washington has been playing better but if Vanderbilt does play, i hope it's not at the expense of SKJ, i like SKJ's size and agressive better on the offensive end than i do Washington's. Washington has been better as of late getting to the rim but alot of times they throw that shot of his into the 5 row....

We shall see what happens, Coach Cal knows best and knows what he's got this weekend...

I said when he got hurt that I thought we had seen the last of him in a UK uniform. Just seems like the whole thing is a bit odd.

Maybe it's just paranoia on my part.

I hope he is able to play, at least a little bit.
