If Vanderbilt doesn't play this week, we may have very well have seen the last of Vanderbilt at Kentucky. I am in agreement with you because i don't see him playing on a NBA roster next year but now Cal makes a statement he could be one of the best rebounders ever, compared him to Dennis Rodman. This tells me Cal is already selling him to the NBA draft this year............

I grant that the Rodman comment could have been that. But he hasn't repeated it as far as I know; it was just something he dropped in there. And it's a pretty obvious comment with the way Vanderbilt plays.
I'd be more inclined to believe Vanderbilt will go if I'd seen any of the NBA guys I follow mention him. He's pretty much a void in terms of the NBA talk around him. If he goes he'll have to either (a) have a couple of big games here in the tournament, or (b) have killer work-outs, or (c) be so concerned with his history of injuries that he's okay with the second round.Comment

I definitely think Cal sales them to the NBA. The Shai Gilgeous-Alexander sales pitch has been on high for a couple of weeks.

Wow....what terrible luck for the team and the kid. Reminiscent of Scott May breaking his arm and Kentucky being Indiana's only loss in a two year run. Barely.Comment

Jarred Vanderbilt says he's about 70 percent, hopes if UK keeps winning he could try to play second weekend.

AZ potential match-up in the second round as a #4 seed Really?! First of all, they shouldn't be a 4 seed. Since I'm on the west coast I catch a lot of Pac 12 games. Did AZ start out slow coupled with the steriod and FBI drama, yes but they have come back strong. Their twin towers are monsters in the paint and hard to deal with...Ayton #1 draft pick, he is a beast! He was good in HS but he has elevated his game one season of college ball.Last edited by 85 Fly; 03-15-2018, 02:10 AM.Comment
