Cal said they would be in Anchorage Alaska, They got as close as you can get to Anchorage in this tournament by going to Boise. UK gets the toughest end of the bracket again. I don't think Davidson will be an easy game. From what I hear they are a very good shooting team which mean they are dangerous. Win that then they may be the most talented team in the Nation in Arizona. Then Virgina, the most consistent team in America this season. Then they will get a breather in Cincinnati. I think you see what I mean. It ain't going to be easy and it could be short lived too. Well see what happens. It is the most wide open field I have ever seen. No dominant team(s) this year at all. UVA was the most consistent but is there real fear to play them? I don't think so. Villanova is really good but they can be beaten if they don't shoot well. This is the perfect year for a mid major like Gonzaga to win it or a Cinderella to come out of nowhere. It will be wild ride so enjoy it.

That was what I thought it would be. CBS loves UK because they bring in the ratings.

Also UK's bracket should be called the Wildcat bracket. Arizona,Davidson,K-State as well as UK are all Wildcats.

Boise is beautiful this time of year. Is North Carolina all that beautiful right now?

Good team. Hit a gazillion 3 pointers against RI. Very capable of beating us. Hot team on a little roll, like us.

If if we play like we did this weekend, we're golden. If we revert, we go home.

Here's a link to Davidson. They can score. They shoot 39% from the three area. They lost to all the OOC teams that are in the NCAA's,UNC,UVA,New Mexico State and Nevada. Also beat Rhode Island twice UK can't overlook this team. If they do they will go home early.

U of L not getting the big dance may hurt their interim coach not being able to hold the job---he seems like a decent sort& probably did a better than average coaching them in view of the circumstances of him getting the job. I guess I got a large charge of Ricky P. getting the ax--but stuff like that is bad for college basketball& taints the game as a whole!!

We got the seed that was earned. Ten losses.....BAD four game swoon. Swept by two teams in conference. Not enough of those quad 1wins.
personally I think Arizona is over-thought of.
talk about 'Mitchs fault' doesn't ring well....he can't make a decision about his own school, one way or the other.

Overall, this is a much better bracket than the Cats have seen in past years.....just depends on how the kids play.

one and done now for everybody. LAce em up!!!

UL to play NKU in the first round of the NIT. A lot of their fans wanted UL to decline the invitation.

All I can say is we never got screwed like this when CM was on committee, and if you believe committee members have no say in what happens to their school, I got some land in Fla. I want to sell ya

The Arizona draw was sort of expected for Kentucky. They're not a tremendous team but they have the tournament's best player at a position we're thin at.

I'd personally rather play dominant big men than guys who can hit 7 or 8 threes, but Ayton is so good he could foul your whole front line out.

But even before we get to that game Davidson is going to run its stuff. One of the best coaches in the game. Kentucky doesn't really play well against methodical teams who will screen you to death in the half-court. People are looking ahead to Arizona but that first game's going to be a war.

Kentucky didn't get the easiest bracket nor did it get the toughest. Thought North Carolina got the biggest gift of anyone in the field.
