Great college basketball game. SGA was tremendous. In some ways he may be the smartest point guard Cal has had. Maybe not the most talented but he seems to always make the smart plays. Especially at the end of the season.
UK showed great toughness, Both Times UT came back to take a brief lead I thought they were in a lot of trouble. But they played like veterans today and never wilted. A game like this could pay huge dividends in the NCAA's.
SKJ a break out game. That put back and then the block were game turners.
UK hit their foul shots too when they had to have them. Even Washington hit most of his.
Now we will see where we go. I expect a tough draw. It always is for Cal.Kentucky fan since 1971.Comment

I am so proud of our Cats! If you wouldv'e told me back in Jan that we would win the SEC with this young team I wouldv'e just prayed we made it to the semi's because the SEC was so deep this season. SGA what can I say! I'll be the first to say when I watched a few of his HS games I couldn't figure out why we offered him a scholarship?! He was so streaky not at "UK level", but goes to show you...Coach saw the potential!
Our journey in the dance is just gravy at this point...so proud!Comment
