Jon Rothstein agrees. He just tweeted that Green and SGA have a good flow with him out. Diallo just disrupts the flow of this team.

Aside from a couple of embarrassing defensive breakdowns, I didn't think Hami was nearly as bad today as he has been. The effort was there -- he was in the middle of some intense rebounding scrums.

Did you notice who was on the bench at the end of the game who has been a major part of some of our melt downs? Maybe Cal is catching on.

Nasty ankle injury in the Auburn game to McLemore. Announcers said it was a dislocated ankle and was on the way to the hospital.

Aside from a few rushed shots early, I thought he played decent today. Nice win today. I thought the defense was really good late in the game.

Missed most of the game but good win... Did see a few minutes where JV was absolutely all over the place. If that kid could shoot an 8-10 foot jumper, he would be very good... I so hope he stays for at least another year. Didn't see Diallo and I've been on the kid all year but I'm sure now he's pressing like crazy... What I saw as well - the crowd finally was really into it.

My 17-year old said something today that sort of makes a lot of sense to me and I know I heard someone talk about it on Twitter I believe --- 1.) The first few rows at Rupp, the old folks need to go and the students need to be there - at least in the center so that they are on TV more and the atmosphere is better. 2.) As I slam on the team myself when they are not playing good - those that do it on Twitter and such is not necessarily a good thing.

Got to understand - recruits see that stuff... If you are 17/18 years old and you see the Crazies at Duke and then you see all the old folks sitting there with their arms crossed - hmmm, what do you think pops into a 17/18 year old recruits head. Then, all of the negative Twitter stuff. I get it but again - these kids (current and future) player sees that. Some recruits might be like - screw this - these fans are terrible, mean, and so on if "I" fail...

We've had this discussion, on here, in the past. The "old folks" are the ones with deep pockets, and that's what greases the wheels. I can't see those people ever being moved out of their seats. Besides, elderly people don't need to be sitting in the nose bleed section.

Put in luxury suites, move the front row people into the suites and replace them with a Duke-esque student section.

I doubt if UK, or the owner of Rupp, would be interested in investing that kind of money in Rupp just to get students closer to the floor. As long as we're winning, nothing is ever said about the seating arrangements. I doubt if it would help this year's team if the students were sitting at court side.

Sure the fogies at Rupp were the fogies at Rupp. But most of the crowd was lively today. My 11 year old had a ball. That's what mattered to me. Not a beautiful game but certainly fun to watch.

                            And a win!

I agree with the investment part but I've talked about it for many years. The place can and is electric but there are other venues where the student sections are so much better. Sorry - Duke's setup kills UKs in regards to the student section. It's bad when Cal has to ask people to cheer.

This was an exciting game and fun to watch. It was sorta like streetball instead of a college basketball game, but I enjoyed watching. As for Diallo, he got a couple tough rebounds and hit a couple good shots, but as usual his defense was a no show. One play, the Bama guard was low in the block, faked to his left and Diallo moved to cut him off, but the kid went to his right for the easiest basket scored all night, and Diallo stood there flat footed.
