It seems like they are getting blown out nearly every game. Memphis has a good tradition and their fans can be demanding. I can't see him lasting much longer down there.

That's exactly why rumors of Wiseman to Memphis are heating up. Any new coach is guaranteed to add Penny Hardaway to the staff which then means Wiseman goes to Memphis.

Memphis should probably just say screw it at this point and just hire Penny Hardaway. It's been inevitable for years that it will happen at some point.

It is difficult for me to see HOW we make a late run, we simply don’t have enough players with legitimate basketball skills to generate one.

Kentucky doesn't need to completely overhaul the team to make a decent run.

I mean it's clear they aren't going to the Final Four or anything, but they could put three or four wins together. They're losing all these games by very tight margins. Like every single one comes down pretty much to the last couple of possessions.

So theoretically Kentucky is close. But realistically it probably isn't going to happen. I can see them squeaking into the NCAA Tournament maybe but I just don't think we have the horses this year to do much once we're there. I think the best we can hope for is winning 3 of these last 7 games, winning a couple in St. Louis, getting in as an 8 or 9, and then making it out of the first round.

Barring a miracle turnaround I would say anything other than that is probably too much to ask.

Several people have been talking about it for about a week. Andrew Slater (Duke lover and UK hater) changed his crystal ball prediction to Memphis a day or so ago.

Tubby will be gone at Memphis after this season and everyone fully believes Hardaway will be the coach or, at the very least, an assistant. Wiseman is going to whatever school Penny coaches at or he will be at UK if Penny isn't a coach somewhere.

We need to revamp our assitant coaches and Strickland isn't coming back, why not hire Penny Hardaway at Kentuck if you are Cal??

Strickland was big, especially for our point guards, he was a dude that had BEEN THERE DONE THAT. In my opinion, star power can sell star power.......

You thought this about Kansas and WV also. Maybe that's what it takes to bring out a good effort? If they beat Auburn I think you should predict a blowout for all the remaining games.

I have actually had a good feeling about the Auburn game for awhile. Not sure why but I think they are going to win that one. Saturday is the one that makes me cringe. A&M is healthy and has their team intact now.

I also watched St johns beat #1 Villanova last night on the road......they lost 11 games in a row and have now beat 2 top teams in less than a week
