LaVar Ball's Big Baller Brand Reaches Out to Tyler Herro; Herro Declines

According to Ben Roberts of the Herald-Leader, LaVar Ball, who is putting together a development league under the Big Baller Brand umbrella, reached out to UK commit Tyler Herro.

Herro reportedly has said no thanks to the offer, smartly.

Herro is kind of a Luke Kennard/Trae Young type.

Not sure what sort of talent he's having to go against every night but his offensive ability seems to be pretty off the charts. Think he'll be able to contribute for us right away.

I don't care what color a ball player is as long as he has talent and can win games. That being said, white boys that are athletic with pro potential are a rare find. There will only be one Rex Chapman, the most athletic white boy to wear a UK jersey. When a shooting guard can fill it up, they can be the most exciting player on the court. When Monk was hot, UK couldn't be beat. Players like Booker Murry and Meeks could light it up. If this kid can shoot like that, he will be a pro as well. Not sure how athletic Herro is though. There will always only ever be one Rex Chapman.

He seems to score a vast majority of his teams points. Based off the videos, the competition doesn't look stellar either. It will be interesting to see how he performs in the all-star games. The kid has talent though. No doubt about that, but so did Josh Carrier and Chris Harrison.

He's an absolute baller, more athletic than you expect, and complete knockdown shooter spotting up or off the bounce.
