In all fairness to Cal, Richards had 10 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks, plus he's an 85% FT shooter. While I'm so happy PJ hit both his FT's but why wasn't he in there at the end? That's a chance I might not want to take.

Richards did play well and I wondered where he was the 2nd half. But Washington got a huge steal and made a great defensive play in LeChance in OT. Not sure Richards makes those plays.

This is the 20th anniversary of the 1998 Comeback Cats. Apparently this team is trying to be like them. I only saw the first 12 minutes before I had to go to bed. Richards was playing really well then. I saw he only played 12 minutes in total. I am assuming he got into foul trouble? It didn't surprise me they had a lot of trouble with Vandy. This is a freshman team and they just aren't going to follow up a big win, like Saturday, with another big effort. That's just the nature of freshmen. When they do follow up in a big way we know they are maturing and actually getting better. But until then expect more of this as we go down the stretch. Give Riley LaChance a game ball too. If he hadn't a missed a critical foul shot near the end this was a likely loss. That's two he has given UK this season with missed foul shots.
Save for Ole Miss the rest of the season is against good teams. Three of the next four are on the road too. We are gong to see what this team is really made of now.

I hate 9:00 games and then when it goes into OT it is even worse......managed to stay up and watch all of it.....WOW these CATS do not give up
