A question for you basketball coaches: When you're playing a team that traps, why screen on the ball? The screen CREATES the trap? Why not screen off the ball, and then drive and pass to the guy coming off the screen?

I dislike A LOT of Tubby Smith's offense, but if there's one thing he would do, it's screen the paint off the ball, and create post position.
