    OT: Big Cuz Out for Season

    Cousins suffered a torn Achilles and is out for the year. Early prognosis is that the injury is very bad.

    Really tough break for a guy who was putting up incredible numbers.

              Was watching that game at work last night and saw it live. It was immediately obvious that it was a season ender. What a shame. Boogie is THE best center in the league. The stats back it up. 25-13-5.5 to go along with 1.6 steals and 1.6 blocks. He has hit 104 3's as well. INCREDIBLE for a numbers for a center. With the injury comes a massive blow to the Pelicans playoff hopes. As of yesterday, they were in the 6th spot in the Western Conference playoff race and they were a top 10 offense. He took a ton of pressure off of AD. Terrible news. Boogie is one of my favorite Wildcats ever. The guy is a big teddy bear and just a BEAST on the court.

                  Pelicans were starting to gel with Rondo back, bad timing in a contract year for Cousins, hope he comes back better..
