It's kind of funny, honestly. The only in bounds play Cal teaches is to have the longest guy stand there with one arm up. Came back to bite him tonight. There's no reason he doesn't have a go to inbounds play in his back pocket that his team knows for situations like that.

He never has.

A wild thing we're talking about in the Lavender living room:

Who was our MVP in that game? I don't know if I've ever seen a UK game where you look around and can't find one guy who really gave you a solid, consistent effort.

Killeya-Jones maybe? Wenyen fought but he plays like he's not right in the head at times.

Everybody we had screwed up a lot.

Aside from one or two plays, Killeya-Jones was terrible.

Gilgeous-Alexander was probably our best player tonight, but that's not saying a whole lot.

Just a lousy game all around.

This is Cals worst squad IMO. We haven’t beat a goo d team, one average win over Louisville and a so so Va Tech and that’s it, every other win is against poor competition. We have lost to every good team we have played, if things go as I anticipate we end up a 9-10 seed and gone the first day. Once again Cal is flirting with mediocrity. If things continue as I fear, Cal really needs to sit down after the season to figure out what’s wrong and how to fix it.

THIS team will get absolutely hammered in Morgantown. It was a scary game beforw the season. Now? It looks like a save face game with ZERO chance of winning.

UK basketball is headed in the wrong direction. Past three seasons are Tubby-esque. Early NCAA exit, Elite 8, likely first round NCAA exit.

Cal has clearly lost something.

We are going to get mercilessly drilled by West Virginia.

Huggins will have no pity after what we did to them in the NCAA Tournament last time. Daxter Miles may try to score 50.

I lucked out and have father/daughter dance that night so I won't have to watch. I was going to drive out to a lonely backwoods road and just sit there listening to smooth jazz for a couple of hours while I chanted "serenity now."
