The game was what I was afraid it would be. An ugly post UL game. But it was a win which is the most important thing. SGA was great again. He's quickly becoming the team leader. Also I am liking the play of Gabriel off the bench. He's giving them much needed energy. He is also learning his capabilities on offense which is shooting three's off screens and going for offensive rebounds. Pretty much everyone else was a no show. Richards just wasn't there. Totally zoned out of this game. Knox is in a terrible funk. UK is going to need him in the teeth of SEC play. He is at a tipping point now I'm afraid and needs to get turned around very soon or this season could spiral away from him.

Also the officiating was terrible for both teams. But that is the way it always is and you jut have to roll with it.

Four of the next five are on the road. We are going to quickly see what this team is really made of over this string of games.

Fully agree. Except even though PJ fouled out with only 15 min. pt (some ticky-tack calls) I thought it was 2nd game in a row he's showing signs of life.

I wanted to wait until the pre-season was over and conference play was on its way before I gave my opinion... I've concluded this team is a building block; they have improved from where they began (I was having flash backs of 2013/NIT team early!-Lol) but do I believe we are a Final Four or Championship team? If I'm being truly objective, no, but with that said I've decided I'm not going to be too critical of this team (as I have of recent March run teams that had the potential to really go deep) I'm just going to enjoy the journey, wherever that takes us

It goes to my point: I'm taping all games and sometimes I watch it the night of (when I get home, or I'm racing home to catch portions of it live) and sometimes I watch it the next day, but I do check the score to see if we won...
