Nice. Better late than never, though I wonder what he's been doing the last few years. Playing overseas?

    I always liked Fitch, too.

He's had a long professional career abroad, I believe. Last I saw he was playing in Puerto Rico, but at one point he was in the Ukraine.

WOW!!! Really proud of him for doing that. Outstanding lesson to be learned here I believe.

I love that class - probably my favorite of the Tubby era. It's also fantastic because I had classes with Gerald and...he did not care about school. So good for him.

Great to see. I remember Fitch being suspended during SEC Tourney for reasons better left unsaid, we tanked in first round, he rebounded and was a very TOUGH competitor, always got your best From him on court, very happy for him.

Absolutely LOVED Fitch. I remember there was a bit of turmoil for a time with him. Wasn't there some in team fighting involving him and a teammate on an airplane? He started out having maturity issues but evolved into a tough as nails competitor that played good defense and hit dagger after dagger. I will never forget that three against UNC. I loved that he wasn't afraid to get in there and mix it up. He was a very good rebounder for his size.

Believe he fought with Corey Sears on the team plane. Also was caught with Eric Daniels at one point trying to pass off a fake ID.

Had a rough upbringing. He was actually adopted by a family in Georgia in kind of a Blind Side kind of situation.

One of the hardest-nosed guards I've seen at UK. The first 10 or 15 games of his career were marked with an uncanny ability to rebound the ball from the guard spot. It was only later that he became an elite offensive player.

There were a couple of times I thought Tubby should have kicked him off the team but in the end Tubby knew what he was doing. Fitch has turned into a good man and that's all you can ask of anyone. Good thing Tubby stuck with him because if he hadn't who knows what would have become of Fitch.

IIRC, Allison feel under that brief policy UK had about one strike and your out in regards to drinking and driving. Very unfortunate for Allison. IMO he did get a raw deal but I don't think it had anything to do with Tubby and his set of rules.
