I know that, based on stars, we're more talented. But, frankly, this isn't simply experience. There just isn't explosiveness on the offensive end or defensive end. It's not just not knowing what to do. I'm just not sure anyone is strong enough yet to make it happen, even if they did.

Diallo is a leaper, and heck on wheels in the open floor. But there just isn't much else, IMO. I think that there are just a lot of guys who will bloom with a season in the weight room.

Just think about it. If you've watched ESPN slobbering over Duke and UNC, and the like, you see some serious highlights plays. Just not so with UK, IMO.

You're right. I wouldn't want to play them again next week.

Buckle up Tuesday. It might be a real bumpy ride!

PJ Washington showed up bigly today. Solid win against a good team.

Tuesday, on the other hand... yikes.

Liked the way Quade Green ran the offense when the game was on the line. Cal got caught doing the offense - defense substitution once and he got stuck on the bench. Just a totally different offense without Green in control of it.

Could get bloody. Graham and Vick are liable to eat our guards alive. And Richards, God bless him. He played hard today. He did. But Azubuike's a frickin' monster, and... and...

Sorry. Started sweating there for a minute. I'm just gonna say we're outmatched, and leave it at that.

And I'm still not sold on Green.

A lot of negativity here, don’t really understand it. Start 5 Freshman against a probable Tourney team and get the W. What’s the problem, Washington looked GREAT, Green ran the team fluidly and hit most of his shots, Diallo getting 4 fouls was almost a game changer, I will say it again, this team will go as far as he can take them. Knox is a stud and will hit shots later in the year. Our defense is still a work in progress, but my biggest concern is we seemed to run out of gas late, conditioning not there yet. I for one am very pleased with start of season. As for Kansas, don’t diefy them, they will probably beat us but let’s watch the game before we just write them off.

I think we have more talent top to bottom than Kansas, but their experience and guard play will be too much for us. Expect it to be one of those we're-down-ten-the-entire-game-and-never-really-threaten borefests.

I like Green. I think he's shown to be a steady leader who can make plays offensively. Defensively, however, he's a nightmare. And it's because he lacks that explosive quickness that some of our past point guards have had.
