Cal hinted today that Vanderbilt may be back sooner than expected.

Cal is having a presser and he said Vanderbilt was out of his boot. MRI's and all came back clean. Still no word on his return. But good news! I assume no surgery.

Cal said today that Vanderbilt will probably start practicing at the end of November.

Cal was much more uncertain about Vanderbilt today.

He's not practicing, only doing individual workouts. Cal says if he plays it will be his decision (which is exactly what he said about Hami Diallo).

On Instagram, Vanderbilt put up a photo of him in uniform with the other players last night along with a short post: "Stay tuned."

A return now would fit the original timeline.
