Derek Willis Agrees to One-Year Deal with Detroit Pistons

Great news for one of Kentucky's sons.

This is per Chris Haynes, an NBA reporter for ESPN, on Twitter.

Fantastic news for Derek. I'm sure he'll be in the D league, but he's got the talent and the athleticism to make an NBA bench. Let's hope he continues working hard.

Humphries was released from the Wizards. Will most likely be playing professionally in Australia.

I'm gladly eating crow on Willis. Maybe someone here knows more and can educate me. I thought I heard D league players only make like 30k a year, but I saw the league minimum is 815k this year. So, does he only get the 815 if he makes their roster and gets regular D league pay if he gets bumped down?

Being reported that Dakari Johnson has signed a two year deal with Oklahoma City Thunder.
              Glad to see it.

He deserved it. Guy has been balling out for a few years now in the D League. I was always a Dakari fan. Guy had skills just needed conditioning and seasoning.

The great thing for Willis going to Detroit is he can buy a 1 million dollar house for $27,000.
Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.

But the bad thing is he has to live in Detroit.

A buddy said he'd be just as well off playing basketball in Afghanistan.

The difference is that in Detroit you get to leave 41 times a year.
