Draft rules are as follows (written by TC15, so send all complaints his way):

We will draft in a snake order. First pick in the first round is last pick in the second round.

We select only players that played at Kentucky and it is based on their accomplishments while in school. Not the pros. (Editor's note: "accomplishments" is subjective. Use your best judgment, but Booker's 70 point NBA game definitely doesn't count.) Also, players who are currently on UK's active roster are not eligible for this draft.

At some point you will select a coach. Only coaches that coached here. They will obviously be used multiple times.

Although coaches will be used by multiple teams players can only be selected by one.

We will have minimum-six/maximum-seven-player teams. The either/or is to allow flexibility for two-for-one trades, if you so choose, but you can't dip below six players and still be eligible to win.

You must put together some form of a traditional lineup, and be realistic in determining a player's position. Go small, go big, go traditional, but don't go GGGGF or FFCCC or anything ridiculous like that. And don't try to slide KAT over to SF. We should all understand this rule, but we'll all be ready and willing to cry foul if someone goofs around.

We will draft from 8AM to 10PM Monday through Friday. You are welcome to make your selection during the off hours, but will not be penalized if you do not.

Once you are on the clock you have twelve hours to select.

If you miss your selection you will make it up at the end of the following round. Example: I miss my 3rd round pick I then make my regular pick in round 4 and have my makeup pick at the end of round 4.

If you know you might not be able to select and inform the board in advance you will be able to select your player when you return.

At the end of the draft you will be allowed one post to convince us why your team is the best. We can do this in a separate thread. You don't have to be a used car salesman here. Just list off their important stats and awards.

We will setup a tournament with polls. First pick vs second pick, 3rd vs 4th, etc. We will vote on the winners until we have a champion.

You are able to trade players and picks. You do not have to, but if you want to trade please make the offers through a private message. If you choose to trade two players for one feel free, but know having fewer players than other teams may negatively effect your view from the other participants. Once a trade has been agreed upon through PM, one of the trading members needs to announce the trade in the draft thread. Other participants then have the right to vote a trade down due to suspicion of collusion, or one-sidedness of a trade. A trade won't be made official until the following day at 8:00AM. If, before then, a trade receives seven down votes, that trade is vetoed.

Send TC15 a PM if there are any rules he forgot to mention and this post will be edited accordingly.

With the weekend coming up, you could make your pick today, and since you're first you'd probably be available again before your next turn comes up (since we technically shut down the clock between Friday and Monday).

Despite my very public feelings about Issel wrt today's game, I debated taking him over Mash. After all, regardless of era, he's probably one of our best two or three players ever.

But at the end of the day, I had to take Mashburn. Just too good an all-around player with the credentials to back it up.

And I'm going to make a suggestion here: once you've made your pick, tag the next person (in the same comment) so that he knows he's on the clock. Do so just like you would on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc., by typing the "@" symbol, followed by the person's name. Once you hit "@" and type the first couple letters of the username, you should get a little dropdown box for that user. Sometimes it won't show up right away, but I've found that if it isn't showing up, if you'll type a few letters of the name then hit backspace a time or two, it'll usually appear then. Just click that and it'll automatically send that user a notification (like they've been quoted).
