The officials cost us this game just as much as the phantom us going up 7.

Besides the bad foul calls the officials took 4 points away from us on bad goal tending calls and gave them 2 points on a bad goaltending call.

This was thievery.

Please explain the six point swing you speak of on bad goaltending calls. The first one on Bam's put back was close. Like, close enough that it's a hard call with slow motion replay. What are the other ones?

Goodness gracious people. The refs made/didn't make about four bad calls. They didn't cost us the game. Fox and Monk got shut down and our lack of a true wing player hurt. We had no one that could check Jackson because of his size. We just had a great season and we fell a last second shot short from the final four. Congrats to the Tar Heels. They made plays when it mattered. We were up seven and let them go on a run. They made plays and we didn't. The referees didn't make us foul them, they didn't make UNC hit free throws in the last three minutes, and they didn't make UNC beat our double teams for wide open layups, and they certainly didn't make us lose our seven point lead.

Sorry but KY ain't going nowhere. They got a 40 Million check for just playing football in the SEC. KY goes nowhere. I don't really care what other fan bases do. I will pull for any SEC team as long as they are not playing us. Like I said I am an SEC guy!

It looks to me like the SEC is a pretty good basketball conference and MIGHT finally get a little credit. If my friends jumps off a bridge I'm not going with him.

Unless I'm wrong on the rule I think it was a horrible call. The ball WAS NOT on the rim.

If any part of the ball is above or on the rim it's interference. And it most definitely was.

Also when the ball is touched AFTER it hits the backboard it is interference. That is what happened with Hump's interference call.

Theo Pinson made a big difference in Fox's ability to get those easy-for-him layups, and from there they were able to guard Bam much more consistently. I have to say that Hawkins, Humphries, and Willis all need to keep their heads held high after this loss. They each gave fine efforts and tried their best to extend the season.

When UNC went zone on us Briscoe had the right idea but Fox didn't switch to scoring mode when he entered the ball. It confused us and really should not have, and actually should have been exploited for trips to the line.

Monk for all of his heroics this season went back to jump shot or nothing mode, and that really hurt us. UNC looked like the lesser talented albeit more mature team. We had the game won at the 5:00 mark if we had just executed from there on out. I think Fox and Isaiah could have drive the game out from there, and we could have won it from the FT line.
