After watching the evolution of these tourneys, it's clear they set things up to evolve with an eye to the marketability. But, if there's a dramatic upset, they're standing by with the interest of selling the "Cinderella" story.

I find it kind of odd that Wichita State is doing all the talking. I had grown accustomed to pulling for them over the years until we had to play them. If I read this talk they are spewing, and had no knowledge of who was the better program, I would've bet Wichita State was the better team. The more I think about it, the more I realize the Shockers were seeded right where they should be. They haven't beaten anybody. We SHOULD take care of business tomorrow no problem.

The Vegas Line still UK favored by 4.5. 57 percent of the money is currently going to the CATS vs spread. 68% are taking Kentucky on the money line. Over/under at 151.5.

Never poke the bear because the bear always bites back. After seeing UK sleepwalk Friday night Wichita should have just left them alone.

I haven't seen Wichita St. to know a whole lot about them. Watched some of their conference tourney championship and watched them the other night, that's it.

But I'm assuming they'll put Markis McDuffie on Monk. McDuffie is 6'8". That could be a problem.

Monk absolutely cannot put up another clunker.

IMO the Kentucky/Wichita St. game was the most exciting and most well-played game of the Calipari era.

A total masterpiece of a basketball game.

Absolutely, it was outstanding. That at the 2012 Indiana game in the tournament stand out in my memory.

Looking at Wichita State:
They lost to Louisville and Michigan State and beat LSU and Oklahoma. Wichita State has now been just playing in conference so it's difficult to gauge how good they are playing now. It's an argument that UK has often had playing in the SEC.

If Monk get 15 or 16 UK wins this game. I worry about Fox and Bam getting in foul trouble. I think Briscoe may have another good game(they will be playing Monk tight) and hopefully he can knock a few jumpers today.

I agree, he makes me nervous as we have much better options. I have a feeling he is going to knock a few down. I just think Wichita State is going to put a major emphasis on Monk and containing him. Let someone else beat them.
