What would an NCAA Tournament be without Kentucky getting slapped upside the head with a bracket?

I mean, really, when’s the last time you looked at where the Wildcats were placed in the field and said, “Cakewalk!” OK, maybe you’d never say “cakewalk” under any circumstance. It’s a pretty lame expression. If you’re a Kentucky fan, though, you don’t even need a preferable synonym handy. It never comes up.

Sunday evening, the 2017 NCAA Tournament bracket was revealed and Kentucky was placed as the No. 2 seed in the South Region, whose games will be played in Memphis. The Wildcats will start in Indianapolis against No. 15 seed Northern Kentucky. All good there, on a micro level. The NCAAs are a macro world, though. One game leads to the next, and then to the next.

Agreed we have a rough row to hoe! But so does any team that is meeting KENTUCKY the way we have been playing the past few weeks. I do not worry about NKY, then we have Wich St or Dayton, ( i think we beat either). So now we are looking at UCLA. I think we are playing better defense (because we did not know how to spell defense) in Rupp. So we can beat UCLA but will we play UCLA, not sure they get through the first weekend. Then it is on to UNC or possibly the little team from Tennessee. Not sure. We might be beat by NKY for all i know. I am not good at picking games. But i do like our chances just as much as any other 68 teams.

We have a tall order just to get to the elite 8 (as usual) but I belive we can beat UCLA this time (they will get through to meet up with us).

Has everyone filled out their brackets yet? I just did mine, printed it out.
