Absolutely not. It was two blue blood programs. One the darlings of the NCAA, the other a once proud program back from probation. One team had All Americans across the board, the other had homegrown guys from a State not known for High School basketball paired with a high scoring phenom. You have to take it all into account. Players. Coaches. Fanbases. Media attention. Wisconsin and Florida, while a great game that had two spectacular shots, will never be in the discussion of the greatest game of all time. Never.

Gonzaga, BTW, is living the dream of a relative "cakewalk" to a Final Four, and more. They've played 16 seed SDSU, 8 seed (first ever tourney) Northwestern. 4 seed West Virginia (a Good team, but accurately seeded), and now a breeze with 11 seed Xavier.
They win this one, and their final Four Opponent is either a 4 seed or a 7 seed.
You couldn't have prayed and been blessed with a better path. I mean, their only true national competition might actually be the National Championship game.

I have seen Cal mention it a few times in the behind the scenes videos. He said before the game "Hold them to 40, six blocks, 20 one mores and we get the W." What does he mean when he says one mores? I know it isn't 20 and ones or 20 offensive rebounds. What am I missing?Comment

IF we can get past UNC I believe we can take the Ducks, I was more worried about KU.
While I root for the SEC (football too, even if my team were not to make it in the play-offs) under normal circumstances but I have to admit I'm having a hard time digesting that the Game****************s or the Gators deserve a trip to the Final 4 against Gonzaga.
Is it just me not being able to wrap my head around that? I swear I'm not a hater!-LolLast edited by 85 Fly; 03-26-2017, 03:11 PM.Comment
