Naturally you don't want to play 2 deserved 1 seeds. Arizona is a matched seed.

It's a bad draw. I would declare it a punished draw.

As pizzed as I am about it, how about Carolina?

Agreed. I think it's just fine. Avoid all of the hot teams with the exception of Wichita St. I haven't been terribly impressed by UCLA all year.

I'm with the group who think it's a difficult draw. And not the best team in our region but the one with the most inaccurate seed is our 2ND opponent--Wichita St. (maybe) Don't believe they're a 10. But...we get a tough game that early and we'll have our bearings for a good run. Just gotta play like we can and we're finally starting to scratch that surface.

Wichita State has two wins against the top 100. Two. If any of you has ever said Gonzaga isn't that good because they haven't played anyone you can't be upset we might play the Shockers in the second round.

So we get the highest 2 seed and the hardest bracket. Makes sense.

Anyone that doesn't think that committee doesn't do match ups is nuts. WSU is 20th ranked, 8th in Kenpom and gets a 10 seed so they can match them up on us. Not fair to WSU or us, imo.

UL with a 2 seed. LOL

Hope we stomp the Norse so bad that little Cal gets to play 10 minutes.

Not a bad draw IMO. Its about what I expected. I called the NKU after they won their tournament. You knew that was going to happen. I was surprised UL wasn't a three seed in UK's region. I saw an overall seed chart for every team. UK was number five. Which meant UK just missed a one. If they had beaten either UCLA or Kansas at home they would have been a one. UL was number 8 and Oregon number 9. I would imagine Oregon losing that player dropped them a seed line.
UK should get out of their first weekend as long as they bring the intensity they did this weekend. Dayton or Wichita will be a tough game. After that its always a crap shoot anyway so it doesn't matter that much who you are playing.

We didn't have a coach named Drew...

Had we beat UT and not got slaughtered at Gainesville we would have been a 1. It's still not right to put the best 2 seed in the hardest bracket.

Wichita State has only beaten one team in the tournament this season. South Dakota State.

They didnt show the earlier rounds but all 4 analysts at ESPN had UCLA advancing.
