Dom Hawkins has been great. Derek Willis, though? Come on, man.

Wenyen Gabriel finally gave us some really good run.

Unfortunately he and Willis can't get it together where they both play well at the same time. It's either one or the other.

I've watched a lot of teams this week. Some great, some good and some bad.

There is nothing I have seen the last 2 days or the last week that makes me confident UK can make a long run in the NCAA.
We are weak on basketball IQ. Weak at the 4.
Honestly, the only good things I have seem are on defense.

We just lack something those top e echelon team lacks and I cannot put my finger on it.

Hope I'm wrong.

Let's just get this win and advance.

Hockey ice under floor must create slick spots but why are our guys the only ones slipping? Happens too often. Hope they can do something about that with as many SEC tourneys are scheduled far this arena.

I kind of agree. I've felt a little better about things as of late, but then you see halves like what we just watched and it becomes clear that we haven't shaken our issues.

A deep run will simply* be a matter of widening the margins between good play and bad, because we're certainly going to play some bad basketball at some point during the tournament.

Sloppiness and missed FT's going to bite us if we continue this way. And it's Fox & Monk at the line--not Briscoe.

Primary reason we're up 1 is Key is off.

Alabama is running its entire offense at the elbows and the blocks. Everybody is spaced about 10 feet apart from each other. It's like peach basket basketball.

Would be a good time to spring a zone to break them out of it...but I know that's just shouting into the wind.

If everyone played as hard as this guy, we would be a different team. Not great at anything but good enough to make a difference because of effort.

We're not playing very well but still have the lead. I wonder if that's good moving into the NCAA tournament.
