It was very much not pretty but it was a W-in the record books!!!

At work but went to BW's for lunch and watched the first half. So looking at the final box score i think the tweak (as it were) is a 7 man rotation getting the lion's share of the minutes. Then the 2 extra bigs played only when foul trouble set in. Mulder and Hawkins got the most minutes off the bench. Mulder playing the 3 and Hawk playing the 1 or 2. 3 Seniors plus the starting 4 of Briscoe, Fox, Monk and Bam.

UK played with very good intensity today. That was very good to see. Play with that type of intensity and they will be just fine this weekend. They get Alabama tomorrow. Bama beat USC by about ten points. What I remember about UK's game with Bama is that the Tide missed a ton of foul shots. If they had made a normal percentage UK may have lost that one. Expect a tough physical battle tomorrow.

Looking at the final stats from today's game, it's obvious defense won the game for us. Rebounds and fouls were even, UGA had 13 turnovers and we had 6. They shot just over 33% and we shot 38%. We both shot about the same from 3pt range, We had 6 blocks, they had 1. We had 6 steals, they had 2. They hit just over 65% of their FT's, we shot 64.6. If we had not hustled on D, we probably lose today.

Monk had 3 fouls and 2 points. Monk had more fouls than he had points, and we still won. When he gets sighted back in, and he will, we're gonna destroy somebody.
