Northern Kentucky University to the Dance

Northern Kentucky just punched its ticket and is dancing for the first time in school history--in its first year eligible for postseason play.

Incredible story. They look like a 16 but if they're a 15 we might get them in the first round.

That's awesome. I hate playing a Kentucky team in the first round. You want to cheer for them!

I saw some of the game and their Big looked impressive. Strong rebounder and can shoot the three.

I was thinking NKU could be UK's 1st round opponent. There have been a number of upsets in these smaller conferences and NKU could end up being a 15 seed. Great story for them to make it the first year they are eligible.

Me too. Except when UK has to play one of them.

Then you must be over joyed that Louisville will be in it too.

I found this year's lack of a post-season ban to be really impressive!

Why would there be one again this year?

Chris plays for my local high school. He's not much offensively, lack of quality coach, but good defense. Needs to gain 20 ponds though.

                            Realistically, I doubt that happens.
