I don't like that we have gotten behind in these last few games but it's been good for them. As long as Fox stays healthy and Bam keeps playing the way he has been we have a shot. We need good Briscoe but if not we have Hawkins who has shown he's more than serviceable. I like the way things are shaping up especially now that we have the press and zone under our belts.

My favorite time of the year for sports! I am so mad I have a business trip on March 17th and 18th. I am flying early on the 17th and will land at 1:30PM. I typically take Friday off and work a half day on Opening two days of NCAA.

A magical time indeed. I love conference tournament week, or what my son refers to as "weird basketball." The level of intensity and competition in some of these mid-major conference tourneys is highly entertaining to watch.

The only downside: we just have a few games left to play.

We have had some head scratching play this season. Cal's teams seem to play better on a neutral court, so maybe it will start coming together. The problem is that around this time our guys are firing on all cylinders. To have that not be the case this season is a cause for concern. Still, win or lose, there is nothing like March Madness. I take off work every year the first two days of the Tourney and this year is no different.

What happens with this team over the next 2 to 4 weeks is how ultimately we will remember this team. It's up to them what kind of legacy they want to leave.

Reality is that it will soon be a new season and everyone gets a clean slate. Talent wise, I still like my team and our 5 can go toe to toe with any other so our chances as good as anyone else.

On a side note, if Coach K pulls out his magic wand and ends up winning it all, I will drive downtown and jump off into the Ohio river lol lol.
